Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease by a neurologist (not another form of parkinsonism)
  • You are male or a woman who has gone through menopause (postmenopausal)
  • You are stable enough to provide blood and saliva samples and undergo a neurological exam
  • You do not have an active infection, chronic inflammatory disease, or cancer
