This study aims to create a tool that predicts the risk of stroke in people who have had a heart attack but do not have atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). If you've had a heart attack without atrial fibrillation, joining could help researchers develop a better way to identify who might need extra monitoring or treatment to prevent stroke.

Who can take part
- You have had a heart attack (myocardial infarction).
- You do not have atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat).
- You do not have a blood clotting disorder (thrombophilia).
- You do not have a condition called paradoxical embolism through a PFO (a small hole in the heart that can cause clots to travel to the brain).
- You do not have an embolus caused by a medical procedure (iatrogenic embolism).
- You do not have coronary slow flow, coronary vasospasm (artery spasms), or a dissection (tear) in a blood vessel.
