Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be able to read and understand English consent forms.
  • You must have signs or symptoms of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), like poor oil quality in tears or blocked oil glands.
  • You cannot have active eye infections, Sjogren's syndrome, or have had eye surgery in the past 6 months.
  • You cannot have had certain dry eye treatments (like LipiFlow or IPL) in the last 12 months.
  • You cannot be taking light-sensitive medications, be pregnant or breastfeeding, or have skin issues around your eyes.
