This trial tests if treprostinil can help people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) who are at intermediate risk. You may join if you have been diagnosed with certain types of PAH and meet specific heart and lung test results.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) caused by certain conditions like unknown cause, family history, drug or toxin exposure (except amphetamines), repaired heart hole since birth, connective tissue disease, or HIV.
- You have had a right heart catheterization within the last 6 months showing specific pressure readings in your lungs.
- Your symptoms are at a level where you can do daily activities but might get tired easily (WHO Functional Class II, III, or IV).
- You have been on a stable dose of certain PAH medications (like ERA or PDE-5i) for at least 30 days, or if new to treatment, you are willing to start one of these along with the study drug.
- You do not have severe liver problems, do not use dialysis, and do not have metal implants that interfere with MRI scans.
