Heart artery study using stress ultrasound

Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You either have had spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) or are a healthy person with no major medical problems.
  • You are not allergic to dobutamine, Definity (ultrasound contrast agent), or atropine.
  • You are not pregnant or able to pause breastfeeding for the study.
  • You have not had a heart attack in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have severe aortic stenosis or very high blood pressure (above 200/110 mmHg).
