  • You are planning to have a stress echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart during stress)
  • The stress test is being done to look for ischaemic heart disease (blocked blood flow to the heart)
  • You are able and willing to give informed consent
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • Your test is not being done mainly to check heart valve problems
