- You are 18 or older.
- You have advanced colorectal cancer that has not been treated with fluorouracil yet.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured.
- You are able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2).
- Your major organs (blood, kidneys, liver, heart) are working well enough.
- You have not had severe side effects from fluorouracil in the past.
