Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for a leg artery procedure (like an angiogram or stent) through the groin.
  • The puncture site is in the main leg artery and a 6-8 French sheath is used.
  • The artery is closed with a ProGlide device and there is no bleeding or other problems right after.
  • You have good blood flow in both legs (ankle-brachial index > 0.9).
  • You are alert, can follow instructions, and can move both legs normally.
