Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and have a liver cancer diagnosis (hepatocellular carcinoma) that has not spread beyond the liver and cannot be removed with surgery.
- You have not had any prior treatment for liver cancer, and you do not have a history of other cancers.
- Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh score of A or B, up to 7 points).
- If you have hepatitis B, you are willing to start antiviral medicine at least 7 days before treatment and continue it during the study.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use birth control during treatment and for 6 months after.
- You are willing to follow the study plan, including all visits and tests, and your expected survival is at least 12 weeks.
