  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had a hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in the brain) that started on its own, not from an injury.
  • You do not have a brain tumor or abnormal blood vessels in the brain (like an AVM or aneurysm).
  • You have no history of any kidney disease.
