Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with stomach cancer (gastric adenocarcinoma) that has not spread to other organs.
  • You are planning to receive chemotherapy before surgery, followed by surgery to remove the stomach.
  • You are in generally good health (able to care for yourself and no serious heart or lung problems).
  • You have not had another cancer, major stomach surgery, or serious heart problems recently.
