  • You have had deep brain stimulation surgery for Parkinson's disease.
  • You are still taking your Parkinson's medications.
  • You score at least 24 on a mental health test (indicating normal thinking ability).
  • You do not have any other psychiatric illness or a disease that requires a special diet.
