Who can take part

  • You must have squamous cell esophageal cancer confirmed by biopsy.
  • Your cancer must be advanced, come back after surgery, or have spread, and it has gotten worse on or you couldn't tolerate first-line treatment.
  • You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • Your blood counts and organ function must meet certain minimum levels (like hemoglobin, white blood cells, liver and kidney tests).
  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
