Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must have a heart device (like a pacemaker or defibrillator) that was put in after 2001.
- Your doctor has recommended an MRI as the best way to look at a medical problem, and you are scheduled for one.
- You do not have a battery that is nearly empty (at the 'elective replacement indicator' stage).
- Your kidneys are working well (GFR above 45).
- You are not pregnant, not severely claustrophobic, and you don't have any metal objects in your body (like certain surgical clips or metal pieces in your eye).
