  • You are 65 years old or older.
  • You are having a heart attack (STEMI or NSTEMI) and it started within the last 24 hours.
  • You do not have a terminal illness that would limit your life to less than 1 month.
  • You do not have severe dementia that would prevent you from understanding the study.
