Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older and have colorectal cancer confirmed by a biopsy.
- Your liver tumors must be visible on an MRI and no more than 4 tumors (each 4 cm or smaller) if your liver is otherwise healthy, or fewer if you've had prior surgery or are also having part of your liver removed.
- You must have had at least one course of chemotherapy (with or without a targeted drug) before joining.
- You can have up to two lung tumors (each smaller than 2 cm) but no other distant spread like to the peritoneum or bones.
- You need to be generally healthy (ECOG score 2 or lower) and not frail (Rockwood Frailty score 3 or lower).
- You must not have had any prior ablation treatment on your liver, and you cannot have certain heart conditions or a pacemaker.
