Who can take part

  • Be between 60 and 90 years old
  • Have a diagnosis of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease (MMSE score between 20 and 27)
  • Have a specific genetic type (AA at rs6971) for the TSPO protein
  • Not have certain liver or kidney problems, or take specific medications that interact with the study drug
  • Not have migraines more than once a month or other conditions like sleep behavior disorder
