Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 85 years old.
- You have stable COPD and have been on a dual inhaler (LAMA/LABA or ICS/LABA) or starting maintenance therapy for at least 3 months.
- You feel short of breath when hurrying (mMRC score 2 or more) or your COPD affects your daily life (CAT score 10 or higher).
- You have had either 0 to 1 COPD flare-up in the past year (low risk) or 2 or more flare-ups (high risk).
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must use an effective birth control method before and during the study.
- You must have no metal implants (like pacemakers) and not be claustrophobic, as you will have MRI scans.
