Who can take part

  • You must be between 17 and 35 years old
  • You must have been told by a doctor that you have mild asthma (also called GINA stage 1)
  • You cannot have any metal in your body (like a pacemaker or non-removable metal clips)
  • You must be able to hold your breath for a short time (as needed for the scans)
  • Women who could become pregnant must use effective birth control
