Who can take part
- You are 19 years or older
- You have type 2 diabetes, or a recent blood test shows an A1c over 7.0, or you have type 1 diabetes or other forms (like from pancreatitis), or you have stress-related high blood sugar (at least one blood sugar reading over 180 since admission)
- You are currently on or about to start a continuous insulin drip (IV insulin) expected to last more than 24 hours
- You are not in the ICU and are expected to need the insulin drip for over 24 hours on a regular hospital floor
- You are an oncology or transplant patient receiving IV insulin therapy
