Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for at least 12 weeks, confirmed by a scope and tissue sample.
- Your ulcerative colitis is moderate to severe, based on a scoring system (Mayo score 5 to 9).
- You have not responded adequately to, or could not tolerate, conventional treatments (like aminosalicylates, steroids, or immunomodulators).
- You may have tried advanced therapies (biologics or oral agents) and they did not work well enough or caused side effects.
- Teens must weigh at least 88 pounds (40 kilograms).
