Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been newly diagnosed with CML and have a specific genetic marker called the Philadelphia chromosome.
  • You have never taken a TKI before.
  • You do not have a history of thyroid problems or take medication for thyroid issues.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not taking oral contraceptive pills or corticosteroids.
  • You are not taking certain drugs like dexamethasone, phenytoin, carbamazepine, rifampin, or phenobarbital.
