Home virtual reality rehab for stroke recovery

This trial tests if using a virtual reality device at home after a stroke can help you regain independence. You'll use the device with a family member present for safety, after finishing your stay at a rehabilitation center.

Who can take part

  • You had your first stroke (no previous strokes) and are now in a rehab center for at least 3 days a week.
  • You plan to go home within 2 to 4 weeks to continue rehab there.
  • You can use virtual reality and do not have severe vision problems or epilepsy.
  • A family member or caregiver lives with you and agrees to be present for safety during rehab sessions.
  • Your home has Wi-Fi and enough space to do the exercises.
