Who can take part
- You must have a body mass index (BMI) of 27 or higher (classified as overweight or obesity).
- You must have been diagnosed with stress urinary incontinence—involuntary urine leakage during coughing, sneezing, laughing, or physical activity.
- You cannot have had any previous surgery for urinary incontinence or bladder Botox injections.
- It must be at least one year since you gave birth, if applicable.
- Your weight has been stable (no change of more than 11 pounds) in the last 3 months, and you haven't used weight-loss medications in the last 6 months.
