Testing plonmarlimab for blood cell overactivation in people with rheumatic disease

Who can take part

  • You must be 16 to 80 years old.
  • You must have a rheumatic or immune disease (like lupus, arthritis, or similar).
  • You must have been diagnosed with HLH (a severe immune overreaction) that hasn't responded to high-dose steroids or you can't use steroids.
  • You cannot have HLH caused by an infection, cancer, or other treatments like CAR-T cells.
  • You cannot have another active cancer (except some minor skin or localized cancers) or a history of blood cancers.
  • You cannot have severe heart, lung, or kidney problems, or uncontrolled infections like tuberculosis or hepatitis.
