This study uses CT scans to see if a deviated nasal septum changes the size of your maxillary sinuses and raises your chance of getting sinusitis. If you already have a high-quality CT scan of your sinuses, your images may help researchers learn more about this connection.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You already have a high-quality CT scan of your sinuses (with top, side, and front views)
  • Your scan clearly shows the key landmarks in your nose and sinuses
  • You have not had any nose, sinus, or face surgery
  • You have not had any major face injury or fractures
  • You do not have any sinus tumors, polyps, or large cysts
  • You do not have a congenital condition like cleft palate or other head/neck syndromes
