- You are 18 years or older
- You have end-stage kidney disease and are on dialysis
- The vein in your forearm where the dialysis access will be made is between 1.7 and 3.2 mm wide
- The vein is long enough and has no blockages
- Your wrist pulse is strong and the blood flow test is normal
- You have a healthy vein in your neck that can be used for the procedure
