Who can take part

  • You must be between 4 and 18 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of cerebellar ataxia, based on a doctor's evaluation and an MRI showing a problem in the cerebellum part of your brain.
  • You must have an IQ of 50 or higher, so you can understand and follow the training exercises.
  • You cannot have certain other conditions like nerve-related balance problems, severe muscle stiffness, or uncontrolled epilepsy.
  • You cannot have had Botox injections or arm casting in the last 6 months, and your ataxia must not be caused by a genetic condition.
