- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have primary liver cancer that cannot be or you choose not to have surgery, with one tumor up to 5 cm in size or up to 5 small nodules.
- Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh grade A or B) and you have no severe fluid buildup in the belly or confusion from liver problems.
- You have not had previous treatment for liver cancer or a tumor that burst on its own.
- You are not pregnant, and you do not have HIV or syphilis.
