Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have had at least 2 episodes of atrial fibrillation (or atrial flutter), with one being atrial fibrillation, and at least one episode in the past year
- You have a CHA2DS2-VASc score of 2 or higher (men) or 3 or higher (women) – this estimates stroke risk based on age, health conditions, and other factors
- You have a body mass index (BMI) of 18 or higher
- You are not taking certain heart rhythm medicines (like amiodarone) and have not had a failed AF ablation procedure recently
- You do not have permanent AF, a pacemaker or defibrillator, or severe heart failure
