SHAPE: A single session for binge eating in women

It may be a good fit if you are a cisgender woman who sometimes feels your weight or shape strongly affects how you feel about yourself and you have binge eating episodes at least every two weeks.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are a cisgender woman (meaning you were assigned female at birth and identify as female).
  • Your BMI is 18.5 or higher.
  • Your weight or shape has a big impact on how you feel about yourself (score of 4 or higher on a 7-point scale).
  • You have had at least one binge eating episode every two weeks (six or more episodes in the last three months).
  • You have not had purging behaviors (like making yourself vomit or misusing laxatives) once a week or more in the last three months, and you are not currently in regular therapy (more than once a month in the past three months).
