Who can take part
- You must have changes in both copies of the leptin (LEP) gene, confirmed by a doctor
- You must have class 2 or higher obesity, which is a severe level of obesity
- You cannot have had weight loss surgery in the past year
- You cannot have lost 5% or more of your body weight in the last 3 months
- You cannot have taken any weight loss medications in the last 3 months
- You cannot have a history of certain mental health conditions, suicidal thoughts, or suicide attempts
