Who can take part
- You have lost one arm below the shoulder (at the forearm or upper arm) and your residual limb is fully healed.
- Your prosthetist says you are a candidate for a myoelectric hand or elbow that can move in at least two ways (like open/close and rotate).
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have never used a pattern recognition or Glide control system before.
- Your skin can tolerate the sticky electrodes that pick up muscle signals, and you have no uncontrolled pain, major neurological issues, or serious health problems that would interfere.
