Who can take part
- You need cataract surgery in both eyes.
- Your cataract should be at least moderate (rated 2-3+) and about the same in both eyes.
- You must not have had any eye surgery before, including LASIK or PRK.
- You should not have uncontrolled diabetes or diabetic eye disease.
- You cannot be taking narcotic pain medications or benzodiazepines regularly.
