  • You are having cataract surgery with only numbing drops (not general anesthesia or sedation)
  • Your health status is classified as ASA I, II, III, or IV (this is a standard way to rate your overall health for surgery)
  • Your surgery is not an emergency and is not scheduled as an ASA-E (emergency) case
