- Diagnosed with GRIN-NDD due to a specific GRIN gene change that makes the NMDA receptor overactive
- For one group: have at least 4 seizures per week that affect awareness and have not been controlled by at least 2 seizure medicines
- For the other group: have significant developmental symptoms and a severity score of 4 or higher
- Be on a stable dose of seizure medicines for at least 4 weeks before the study starts
- Weigh at least 5 kg (11 pounds)
