Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency and have the PiZZ genetic type.
- You have a history of low AAT levels in your blood (below 11 µmol/L).
- You have not smoked for at least 6 months and agree not to smoke during the study.
- You are either not currently on AAT treatment, or you have stopped any treatments that affect AAT levels for at least 4 weeks before starting TSRA-196.
- Depending on the study part, you must have either lung disease (like emphysema or bronchiectasis) with mild or no liver scarring, or significant liver scarring (but not cirrhosis).
