Who can take part
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- You have chronic kidney disease (CKD) at stage 2, 3, or 4 — but you are not on dialysis.
- You are not currently receiving hemodialysis treatment.
- Your blood potassium level is not dangerously high (under 5.5 mEq/L).
- You have not had any prior eye surgeries or treatments (such as laser, injections, or vitrectomy).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not have cancer.
