Ginkgo Biloba Extract for Diabetic Eye Disease

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had diabetes for at least 5 years.
  • You either have no diabetic retinopathy or only mild to moderate early-stage retinopathy without swelling in the center of the retina.
  • You have not taken ginkgo biloba extract in the past 12 months.
  • You have not had any eye treatments such as laser, injections, or surgery for diabetic eye disease.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
