Who can take part

  • You must be 45 years old or older.
  • You need to have enlarged blood vessels (called pachyvessels) in the back of your eye, seen on a special wide-field image.
  • You must be willing to have your pupils dilated and complete all the eye tests required for both eyes.
  • You cannot have other serious eye problems, such as injury, infection, or prior eye surgery (except cataract surgery).
  • You cannot have health issues that affect blood flow, like uncontrolled high blood pressure, autoimmune diseases, or blood disorders.
