Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older with a confirmed diagnosis of advanced liver cancer (BCLC stage B or C) that cannot be treated with surgery or transplant.
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- Your liver function must be good (Child-Pugh class A), and you must be in generally good health (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You must have adequate blood counts and kidney/liver lab values (see full list).
- You cannot have had certain previous cancer treatments, including immunotherapy or VEGF-blocking drugs in the past year, or carbon ion radiation to the same area.
- You cannot have uncontrolled heart disease, active autoimmune disease, serious infections, or high-risk bleeding issues.
