Who can take part

  • You are between 19 and 80 years old.
  • Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh class A).
  • You are able to perform daily activities without much help (ECOG 0-1).
  • You have been diagnosed with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma that cannot be removed by surgery.
  • Your tumor(s) are small enough and positioned so that radiation can be given safely.
  • You do not have untreated or high-risk varices in your stomach or esophagus, serious uncontrolled medical conditions, a history of liver transplant, or autoimmune liver disease.
