Who can take part

  • You must have been referred for a special bone scan called SPECT/CT with a tracer named 99mTc-MDP.
  • Your doctor should be checking for cancer that has spread to the bones or for arthritis-like changes.
  • You cannot have two different types of cancer at the same time.
  • You cannot be pregnant.
  • You cannot be very seriously ill.
