Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a suspicious spot in your bone, high tumor markers in your blood, or your doctor says a scan is needed.
  • You do not have an active infection at or near where a needle would go in.
  • You do not have a severe bleeding problem that can't be fixed.
  • Your random blood sugar is 11.1 mmol/L or lower.
  • You are willing to have a tissue sample taken or follow-up visits.
