This study compares two types of hand therapy for children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. One therapy uses only constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT) to encourage use of the weaker hand, and the other adds a robotic glove to help with hand movements. The goal is to see which one works better for improving hand function.

Who can take part
- Your child should be between 6 and 12 years old.
- Your child must have hemiplegic cerebral palsy (weakness on one side of the body).
- Your child should be able to move their affected hand a little: straighten wrist at least 20 degrees, move thumb out 10 degrees, and straighten fingers 10 degrees.
- Your child should be at GMFCS level I or II (walks without help or with some limits) and MAC level II or III (some use of hands for grabbing).
- Your child should be able to understand and follow simple instructions.
- Your child should not have severe learning or thinking problems, epilepsy, or be in another intensive therapy program right now.
