Modified arm therapy for children recovering from stroke

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 5 and 13 years old
  • Your child has had a confirmed stroke
  • Your child has mild to moderate muscle tightness (spasticity level 1 or 2 on a standard scale)
  • Your child can move their affected wrist, thumb, and fingers a small amount (at least 20 degrees of wrist extension, 10 degrees of thumb movement, and 10 degrees of finger movement)
  • Your child does not have epilepsy, seizures, or recent botulinum toxin injections
