Who can take part
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have a JAK2 V617F mutation in the blood, without a diagnosis of a blood cancer (like MPN)
- Must have at least one high-risk feature, such as a recent blood clot, high blood cell counts, or a high level of the JAK2 mutation
- Must agree to have a bone marrow biopsy to rule out a blood cancer
- Must have adequate kidney and liver function, and acceptable blood cell counts
- Must not be pregnant or nursing, and must use effective birth control
