Who can take part

  • You must have abnormal creatinine levels or suspected kidney disease.
  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must be willing to sign an informed consent form.
  • Your HCT (hematocrit, or the percentage of red blood cells in your blood) must be between 25% and 65%.
  • You must not have severe mental illness, and you must be able to read and write in English.
  • You cannot have used this or a similar self-monitoring device before.
