This study offers a talking therapy called culturally adapted cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis (CBTp) for Black people in the UK who have schizophrenia or related conditions. It aims to see if this approach is helpful and acceptable, and you may join if you are over 16, identify with a Black background, and are not in a current crisis.

Who can take part
- You are 16 or older
- You identify as Black British, Black Caribbean, Black African, African-Caribbean, or Mixed African/Caribbean, and have at least one parent or grandparent from a Sub-Saharan African or Caribbean country
- You have a schizophrenia spectrum diagnosis (like schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder) OR are in an Early Intervention in Psychosis team
- You understand enough English to complete study measures and talk with a therapist
- You are not currently in a mental health crisis or at immediate risk of harm to yourself or others
- You have not received CBT for psychosis in the past 3 months and are willing to try a culturally adapted version
