Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older with a type of cancer that has spread or come back after standard treatment, or for which there is no standard treatment.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
- You are generally active and able to take care of yourself (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Side effects from previous treatments have mostly resolved.
- Your liver, kidneys, and blood counts are working well enough.
- If you could become pregnant, you must use effective birth control during and for 6 months after treatment; men must use condoms and not donate sperm for 4 months.
- You can swallow pills and keep them down (no severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea).
- You do not have untreated or unstable brain tumors, uncontrolled infections, or significant heart problems.
